A few people have asked about the new photography appearing on the Dead Air Saints website.
The answer is surprisingly simple.
This image was photographed on the SodaPop House sound stage using an iPhone 17 Pro Max.
From there, the image was processed with Jarvis, our AI analyst and creative assistant, to explore ideas, refine concepts, and accelerate the workflow.
The final image was then edited, color graded, and finished by Dead Air Saints architect C. Scott Gilbert using Adobe Photoshop.
No giant production crew.
No Hollywood budget.
Just a sound stage, a smartphone, an AI assistant, and a graphic designer who refuses to stop tweaking things until they look right.
What's fascinating is how dramatically the creative process has changed.
Twenty years ago, creating an image like this would have required a professional photographer, expensive camera equipment, studio rentals, assistants, retouchers, graphic designers, and days—or even weeks—of work. It would have cost thousands of dollars.
Today, a small independent record label in Pittsburgh can create the same level of visual storytelling using a smartphone, AI-assisted workflows, and a lot of human creativity.
That's exactly why we embrace technology.
Not because it replaces artists.
Because it empowers artists.
The tools keep changing.
The mission never does:
Different Worlds. Same Signal.
